Bienenfeld hatte nach 5 km 13:42, danach soll es  aber keine perfekte Renngestaltung in seiner Gruppe gegeben haben (1 Meile in 28:20 Pace)

The 10k is so hard. When it really starts hurting you still have over 2 Miles to run around the same small circle.
Similarly to my last 5 in Boston, the race was just set up to run the World Standard (27:00). Even if your plan was to run slower, you got pulled along by the pack and the vibes.
Passed 3k in 8:10 and 5k in 13:42 and started really hurting after that. While on sub 27:30 for a long time, no one in the group that formed really wanted to take the lead and we ended up slowing down pretty significantly, going from 65-66s to 67-68s for too many laps
In a perfect world, I would have liked to split 13:50 at 5 and go from there, but that’s what you get for going for the World’s fastest 10k. Eager to try again but don’t know if I will get another chance this year.
Very nice finish to my time in the US. Time to take some care of business in a new uniform ??

Welche Uniform ist gemeint? Deutschlandtrikot für die Straßen EM? Halbmarathon? Geht er dann zurück nach US?
